looking for submissions

In an attempt to draw attention to Canadian collage artists on a greater scale, I invite 50 folks who wish to participate in an exhibition of collage at Cuts and Paste Gallery and online to send their postal addresses to receive a package with the following:

1 - 8x10 substrate to act as the base of the collage

1 - poly bag to protect the finished collage and to be used when the work is exhibited

1 - sticker or group of stickers that must be used in the finished work

1 - instruction sheet and a form to be filled out that will be sent back to accompany the finished work

1 - addressed envelope for shipping of the work back to the gallery

The pieces will be placed on display at Cuts and Paste Gallery for Canada Day and the entire month of July as well as on this website and the gallery website. All works will be returned in August unless the artist directs the gallery to keep the artwork in their inventory for possible future sale. The collage does not have to be for sale, but the gallery currently asks for 25% commission on all sales and this should be considered if the artist does make the work available for sale. Payments for sold work are made through email transfer and this information will be requested on the form included. All styles and media allowed.

Email canadiancollagecollective@gmail.com with questions/comments or with your address if you'd like to participate. Love to hear from you!
